What Guitar should i Buy for rock and screamo?

I want to buy a guitar for under 500$ and am a lil lazy on going to the stores and testing, since im far from them and looking to buy online. I know fender is on the blues-ier side and need a rock screamo tone with no foot pedals any help? I will reveiw the guitars before i but and go to websites that let me hear them just having trouble naming the name with the price... thanks alot
