Do not wait for this to get better, it is a self-rewarding behavior. Correct the pup physically and do not allow him to bite. This is the number one reason border collies get killed - because they learn inappropriate behaviors including biting and then are given up by the family that taught them that biting is okay. It is absolutely not acceptable for any dog to be putting their teeth on you at any time unless you invited it, you control it and you can stop it completely at any time.
