Is this a good plot? for my story?

i am decideing to write a story about jamestown settlers. the girl is named rose and her mother abandoned in when she was 3 becuase people wanted to kill the rose because she was 1/3 native american, they were also trying to kill rose's parents. the mother was white and the father was native american. anyway soon rose meets tannin a young native americna boy when she is 13 they start to become best freinds and when she turns 14 they start a relationship. one night her step father tells her she can never see tannin again but she does anyway. when she turns 17 her father marries her off but tannin and her still continue to secretley be together and then her husband starts to beat her dailey and then when tannin finds out, he tells her village about them and tells her husband that he's takeing her away from him and she agrees, but sevral days later the husband tries to kill both of them. its a story of love, lies, and loss. does it sound good at all?
