Lightening dyed red hair?

i have naturally dark blonde hair (its gross) so ive been dying it a very noticeable red for a few years now. i want to have something edgy-ier like a manic panic pillarbox red with black in it, and a really cool cut. i can dye it myself, but i know im going to have to lighten it to get the right effect. everywhere on the internet only tells you how to dye over it to make it blonde. i dont want blonde hair, i want redder hair! i also do not have a job right now, so dont say, go to a salon, cuz im not privileged. i cant buy expensive bleaches either. how can i lighten my old dark red hair enough to make a stronger vibrant red at home?
