Would spanish speaking south american goverments unite a create a single country?

Simon Bolivar inspired by George Washington, fought to create a single country in South America, called "La Gran Colombia". It later collapsed due to disagreements of the weathly European settlers. Today, left-wing ideals has gained great control of the each state. I was wondering if there is a possibility of the unification of Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, and Argentina into a single nation.
